This early build is unsigned. Verify the download came from this page. Keep Windows security enabled.
Bring your deck
Open My Decks to import a deck file or paste a deck list. Check the commander and any card warnings before saving. Choose Standard or Enhanced artwork in Settings → Artwork; the full catalog is optional.
Play with friends or AI
Choose Join or Create Game to see open tables. Join an available table, or choose Host game to create your own. Select your deck, check everyone's commander previews, then each human clicks Ready. The game starts when everyone is ready.
For solo play, choose Start AI Game, select your deck and the AI decks, then start. First startup can take several minutes while the rules engine loads; watch the loading stage.
Keep playing, keep updated
Use Settings → Updates to check for a release. When an update is ready, finish your match and choose Restart & update. Existing portable installations keep their update path; you do not need to reinstall or delete your decks and artwork.

The Mac app is not ready yet. A tested Mac download and installation guide will appear here when available. The Windows installer does not run on macOS.

How do Windows updates work?
Install this updater-enabled build once. It checks at startup and every 30 minutes, downloads signed releases in the background, and offers a restart outside a match. Your decks, settings and cached artwork stay intact. Automatic downloads can be disabled in Settings.
The download does not open
Retry the download from this page. If it still fails, ask the host to check the download service. Tailscale is not required. Never use a replacement download with an unverified source.
I cannot create or join a room
Use Join or Create Game and the current build. Check whether the host has an open table. A message about an incompatible version means the app needs an update.
A request timed out
If the app shows a pending request, use Try again with the same details. Do not repeatedly create new rooms or abandon a pending request unless you intend to leave that attempt.
We are waiting in the lobby
For two people and two bots, host a table and have your friend join it. Both humans upload decks; the two remaining seats are AI. The host can choose each AI’s saved deck. Check each seat’s commander and card count, then each human clicks Ready up. The game starts automatically; watch the loading stage.
I disconnected during the game
Reopen Join or Create Game and use Reconnect reserved seat. The app saves your private membership on this computer. Do not forget it or create a new room. Decision and reconnect timers are disabled by default. Leaving saves your seat on this device; reopening your saved room restores it. A stopped server process cannot restore the old match.
Do I need all the enhanced artwork?
No. Standard is the default, and only artwork needed by decks and visible cards downloads automatically. Enhanced 4× is optional. Settings shows signed catalog sizes and estimated extra disk space before an optional full download. Cached cards work offline; missing artwork temporarily uses text cards.
